Women's GmbH
GmbH
GmbH's genesis is from the dance floors of Berlin’s underground nightclubs. Splicing cross-cultural references with a utilitarian, workwear-minded approach, they create collections crafted from high-tier, Milanese deadstock materials. They are a label that resists over-consumption. Started by designer Serhat Isik and photographer Benjamin Alexander in 2016, the duo sought to capture the energy and attitude of Berlin's underground scene. GmbH – a suffix used in Germany to indicate a company of limited liability – is a collective defined by its youthful DNA. Deriving influence from sportswear's functionality to create off-duty pieces including cargo trousers, PVC pants, GmbH's aesthetic always remains circumscribed by its industrial nature and silhouette.
