Sankuanz boasts a distinctive and playful approach to fashion that has gained a cult following in the Chinese youth-subculture. The designs reflect the expression of different personalities such as classical references are mixed with pop elements through razor-sharp tailoring, bold graphics and sport silhouettes. Each element, eccentric or classical, finds its proper place and highlights the other.
Started in 2008 by fashion designer Shangguan Zhe, the brand immediately gained attention through it’s intriguing and unconventional style. This has made Zhe an eccentric enfant terrible in the Chinese mainstream fashion scene. Praised as one of the most creative young talents in the industry, this has won him a seat at the LVMH prize finalist in 2015.
